Signal
A digital product study. A concept system for reading complex information at a glance.
The idea
Signal explores how complex systems can be read with less effort and more confidence. The interface treats information as a landscape: hierarchy, rhythm and motion reveal what matters before the viewer has to ask.
The study starts with a simple tension: dashboards usually show more than people can use. Signal proposes a calmer model, where density is not the default and attention is treated as part of the design material.
The system combines a strong reading order with a quiet layer of live signals. Changes are expressed through movement and position rather than an endless accumulation of alerts.
